Dr. Eissa Mhanna (MD) is a Dubai Health Authority-registered Consultant Cardiologist and Specialist in Interventional Cardiology, combining nearly two decades of clinical experience across the UAE, Germany, Kuwait, and Syria. He holds triple European certification from the ESC and DGK, alongside full German Board qualification (Facharzt).
Dr. Mhanna specialises in complex, high-risk coronary interventions including bifurcation and left main PCI, rotational atherectomy, Shockwave intravascular lithotripsy, and intracoronary imaging with IVUS and OCT. He is equally expert in coronary physiology assessment, acute coronary syndrome management, cardiogenic shock, and advanced echocardiography.

Throughout his career, Dr. Mhanna has built a reputation as one of the region’s most rigorously trained interventional cardiologists. After completing his residency and Master’s in Cardiology at the University of Damascus, he served as a Cardiology Specialist at Rashid Hospital in Dubai before advancing his training across leading German cardiac centres — including Klinikum Dortmund and Helios Klinikum Gotha — where he attained the prestigious Facharzt qualification in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. His procedural repertoire extends to pacemaker and ICD implantation, device interrogation, renal denervation for resistant hypertension, TASH for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and comprehensive heart failure management. Fluent in Arabic, German, and English, Dr. Mhanna delivers world-class cardiac care to patients in Dubai and across the wider region.
