Professor Uwe Klima – Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular Surgeon and Managing & Medical Director
(M.D, PhD)
Lead by Professor Dr. Uwe Klima, a world leading cardiac specialist who joined the German Heart Centre in 2015 and adopted the designation of Managing and Medical Director of the Clinic in July 2017.
Dr. Kilma holds a PhD degree from the Hannover Medical School in Germany and has worked in some of the World’s most prestigious medical institutes, clinics, and hospitals including Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, the Max Kade Foundation, and the Hannover Medical School in Germany.
Dr. Michael Lefkovits – Senior Consultant Cardiologist

One of the most accomplished senior cardiologists in UAE, Dr. Michael Lefkovits graduated from University of Basel, Switzerland with an MD degree, after which he pursued post-graduate training in Departments of Physiology and Pathology, and Internal Medicine. After completing his Cardiology Fellowship at Herzzentrum Bad Krozingen and Basel University Hospital served as Chief of Cardiology at the Cardiac and Rehabilitation Centre Barmelweid and Consultant Cardiologist at Hirslanden Clinic in Switzerland.
Dr. Gehad El Gergawy – Senior Consultant General and Interventional Cardiologist

Dr. Gehad El Gergawy is another gem of the German Heart Centre. Graduated with a distinction from Slovakia’s Comenius University, Dr. El Gergawy later moved to the United Kingdom where he worked as Consultant Interventional Cardiologist for the National Healthcare Services.
Along with his exemplary contributions in cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology are, he is also an academic enthusiast and a leading educator responsible for the training of junior doctors in interventional cardiology.
Dr. Beate W. Wild – Senior Consultant General and Interventional Cardiologist

Worked as Cardiology Specialist at German Heart Centre since 2007, Dr. Beate W. Wild has extensive experience in almost anything related to the heart. After receiving her MD and PhD degrees from the Free University of Berlin in 1990, Dr W. Wild completed her residency in Internal Medicine from the University Hospital Rudolph Virchow in Berlin 1996 before becoming board certified as cardiologist in 1999 from Auguste Viktoria Teaching Hospital in Berlin.
Dr. Caspar A Boerner – Senior Consultant General and Interventional Cardiologist

Dr. Caspar Boerner is undoubtedly one of the most experienced Cardiologists to rank and an active partner of Germany’s most revered and distinguished cardiovascular centres. Dr. Boerner acquired both his MD and PhD degree from the University of Heidelberg in Germany and became board certified in 1992 after completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Josephs-Krankenhaus in Heidelberg. He then undertook his fellowship in cardiology at the North-Rhine-Westphalian Heart and Diabetes Centre in Bad Oeynhausen and was certified cardiologist in 1994.

A veteran in his field, Dr. Gabor Zimmermann’s career is composed of an overwhelming 30-year strong experience as OB-GYN, specializing in classic and complementary medicine with unparalleled expertise in natural, preventive and anti-ageing treatments. Before becoming a German Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Dr. Zimmerman studied medicine at Semmelweis University in Budapest and then trained as a Specialist in Dusseldorf.
